Come Back to Church This Fall

Vacations are over, the kids are headed back to school and the daily routines resume. As you get ready for back to school, why not come back to church, too? Raising a strong family can be challenging! Kids face more questions and temptations than ever. Maybe it’s time to rediscover church. Join us for Back to Church Sunday on September 12, 2010, and see what the Aboite family has to offer your family! We will be serving breakfast during both Sunday morning worship services. This will be a great opportunity to reconnect with others, and also to invite your friends, relatives, neighbors, and coworkers to church. Pastor Rich will have a great message to bring a guest for. If you would like to have Pastor Rich pray for you or a guest you have invited, please contact pastor@aboitechurch.org

What’s So Amazing About Grace?

Beginning September 15th, Aboite’s small groups will be studying “What’s So Amazing About Grace” by Phillip Yancey. This study will help you to interact deeply with Yancey’s most personal and provocative book yet. You’ll consider how you can contend graciously with today’s tough moral issues, and you’ll discover how you can become Christ’s answer to a world that desperately wants to know, What’s So Amazing About Grace? Contact your small group host for more information. If you would like to get involved in a small group, visit http://aboitechurch.org/signup/

Why I Teaching Series

In our frenzied rush through life, we rarely slow down long enough to ask ourselves why we do what we do. In this series, Pastor Rich takes the time to do just that. Rich, a self-proclaimed why guy, opens up his life to give us an insider’s look at why he does what he does. And through these probing messages, we’ll discover that the amazing life God has in store for us is often just one question away.

The Truth Project

A recent study found that only 9 percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview. Today’s believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life’s ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation.

Join us during Christian Education Hour at 10:00am on Sunday mornings and at 6:00pm on Monday evenings for The Truth Project, a study led by Joshua Pagán. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.

Join a Small Group

God’s dream is for people to experience community with Him and with one another. Real community happens when people come together in love, acceptance, and encouragement. Community and life change happen best in Small Groups.

Our Small Group structure is semester based with three semesters being offered each year; Fall, Spring, and Summer. Each semester a variety of offerings are available for men, women, and mixed groups. These groups meet at the church, in homes, or other places.

There are many small groups that are designed to suit different age groups and meet on different days of the week at different times. We are here to help you find the group right for you. Please fill out the form below if you are interested in either joining a small group or hosting a small group.
