Men’s Basketball Resumes
Join us for some friendly basketball games on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm beginning on April 18th. This was a lot of fun last summer and we’re really looking forward to this season. Just show up in the west parking lot any Wednesday evening ready to play and even bring a few friends with you! Contact Jeff at ess135@aol.com or Dave david.eng7@gmail.com for more info.
Service Project Opportunity May 5th
Volunteers from Aboite, led by our own Dave Pelz, will be working hard to replace a roof on a home near Leo, IN on May 5th (rain-date May 12) for a family in need. No experience needed! We’ll need a bunch of people to help clean up from the ground. If you have experience roofing, we can use you up on top! Even if you’re only available for a few hours, contact dpelz@hotmail.com to get involved!
Christian Education Hour Back in Session
Christian Education classes for all ages are back in session and will continue to meet weekly until Memorial Day weekend. Join us Sundays at 10:00am and Monday evenings at 6:00pm for Christian Education Hour.
Read MoreVolunteer Spotlight: Sound Ministry
Aboite is very blessed to have a dedicated worship band to help us spread the Word, and a dedicated team of sound volunteers help make it happen! Sound volunteers come an hour before the worship service to coordinate with Pastor and the worship leader, run the equipment during the worship service, and shut it all down after the service. We are grateful to these volunteers for their service. We currently have two opportunities to get involved in this vital ministry. The time commitment ranges from 2-6 hours per month, during the Sunday and Monday worship services. No technical experience is necessary, however we prefer that volunteers have some musical knowledge before training. If you’d like more information, see any sound technician after a service or contact dave@aboitechurch.org to see if you’d be a good fit!
Grocery Bags for Community Harvest
Please bring in your used plastic grocery bags and place them in the collection bin, located inside the door at the west entrance by the offices. We will transport them to Community Harvest Food Bank to assist them in their ministry to the hungry in our community. To get more involved in this ministry, please contact tama@aboitechurch.org

If you missed the opportunity to be photographed, stay tuned as we add to the next directory scheduled for this fall. Since our volunteers put it together, we plan to update more frequently.
