Children

Nursery Care

Open to children through age six, our nursery is professionally staffed at all three services with kind, friendly, and compassionate caregivers. We offer a safe, secure, and loving environment for your child while you are attending the worship service. Children participate in a bible lesson, complete a craft or coloring page, have a snack, and free play. Our staff and volunteers are screened with a national background check and are CPR and First Aid certified.

Nursing Mother’s Room

We offer a Nursing Mother’s Room for mothers who wish to care for their young child during the worship service. It is a private room with comfortable rocking chairs and other baby items for your convenience. The worship service is broadcast to this room so mothers may still participate in the worship service.

Children’s Church

Children are dismissed from the worship service after the Creed and return after the Offering. Serving children in Kindergarten thru 5th grade, we provide a safe, fun, and relationship building environment for your child.

Kids Konnection

Kids Konnection is offered during our Sunday morning Christian Education Hour at 10:00 am. For students in Kindergarten thru 5th grade, we offer a Bible lesson, craft time, games, and a fun game show.

AWANA Club

ALC’s midweek children’s program. It runs from October to April.

The children spend equal time in three stations throughout the night. They have:

  1. a large group lesson,
  2. small group time (where they recite the bible verse they had to learn for that week), and then there is
  3. game time.

The children have a fun time learning about Jesus and building friendships. We do charge a small fee so that your child receives a book, book bag, and a vest or tee shirt.

A closing awards ceremony at an off site location finishes off the year, which is always a lot of fun and part of the fee that we charge.

Awana is for ages 3 up through 5th grade. The preschool children are in Cubbies, the Kindergarten through 2nd grade children are in Sparks, and the 3rd through 5th grade children are in Truth and Training (also known as T-n-T).

Awana Club takes place on Tuesday nights from 6:30PM-7:45PM.
